10 Nights / 11 Day Itinerary

Day One - Zanzibar

Depart from Johannesburg International Airport bound for Zanzibar International Airport. Upon arrival at the airport you will be met by our representative and transferred to Mtoni Marine where you will spend 2 evenings in their double Palm Court rooms on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day Three / Seven - Zanzibar

Today you will check out of the hotel and our representative will transfer you to Mapenzi Beach Club on the East Coast of Zanzibar. Here you will spend 5 fun filled nights on an all-inclusive basis. This means all meals, drinks, selected water sports, beach games and evening entertainment is included.

Day Eieght - Serengeti

Today you will be transferred back to Zanzibar International Airport where you will catch your domestic flight from Zanzibar International to Arusha Airport.

Upon arrival at Arusha Airport you will be met by our representative and transferred to the magnificent Serengeti National Park. The entire route is a game drive, where you will encounter a large variety and numbers of animals and birdlife. En Route you will stop and enjoy a picnic lunch, before heading out again. Your driver guide knows the area well and will make sure that you pass by the animals’ favourite spots. Your evening will be spent at your campsite on a full board basis. Day Nine - Serengeti

After breakfast you will depart on a full day’s game drive in the Serengeti with packed lunches to enjoy en route. Your game drives will mainly be in the Seronera area of the Serengeti, which has a large variety of resident game and close by to the migrating herd paths during May, June and July. This area is particularly popular for this very reason. You will enjoy a picnic lunch out in the brilliant Serengeti. After lunch you again depart for game viewing through the Serengeti. The animals congregate in different places at different times of the day, and your driver guide will know exactly where to take you. Before sunset, your guide will take you back to your hotel, where you will enjoy dinner before a good night’s rest. Overnight: Serengeti Camp FB

Day Eleven

This morning your guide will meet you and transfer you back to Kilimanjaro International to catch the Air Tanzania flight. After a short stopover in Dar Es Salaam, you then board Air Tanzania flight back to Johannesburg

Day Twelve - Arusha

After breakfast, your guide will take you back to Arusha. The journey will take around 5 hours and will be a game drive for most of the route. You will enjoy a lunch at the renowned Redds African Grillhouse situated on the fringes of Arusha before departing back to Mountain Village Lodge. Dinner will be served at the beautiful lodge before retiring for the evening.  Overnight: Mountain Village Lodge BB
